Andraé has over 13 years of experience in youth ministry along with serving as a school teacher and assistant principal. He holds a B.A. in Music and Theology from The Master’s College. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Youth For Orphans and has been to over 30 countries on short-term mission trips around the world. He is the Associate Pastor for Middle and High School Students at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church. He is also a native of southern California, an avocado lover, and recently, a self-proclaimed smoothie king and connoisseur. Andraé is most proud of his wife, Luna, and their two kids, Benjamin and Cecilia.

 Ruth is a co-founder of 2nd Mile and has 14 years experience in youth and college ministry, serving the past ten years in urban contexts and Christian Community Development. Currently, while also completing her MA in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, she also leads reconciliation workshops and serves on several boards on the local, regional, and national level. She loves learning, spirited conversations, health, the mountains, and a good competition of any kind.

Marc has been at 2nd Mile for close to two years now. Before that he worked for Campus Crusade for Christ in “East Asia”, before that he studied Religious Studies and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin, and before that he was a puppeteer (seriously). He likes black iced coffee, “real” Chinese food, and Chicago Cubs baseball (unfortunately).
